SCENIC FABRICATION LEAD

JOB SUMMARY:
Lead role in the custom themed scenic fabrication shop. Position will work with various materials, tools, and use methods to execute creative props and scenery for theme parks, entertainment centers, film & television promotions and more. Position will oversee and educate associated team members while fostering a positive work environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize artistic experience to fabricate theming elements utilizing various materials such as wood, metals, foam, fiberglass and plastics
- Finish sculpts, create molds, and cast materials
- CNC milling and Hotwire experience
- Ability to work with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read assembly and construction drawings
- Maintain equipment, supplies and cleanliness of workstation
- Willingness to learn, train and grow based on project requirements

- Artistic and creative
- Carpentry experience
- Scenic painting (hand and/or airbrush)
- Fiberglass fabrication
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts is preferred, but not required.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5+ years of experience working in scenic fabrication.
SALARY RANGE:
$35-$45/hr.
