Division Boards

The TEA Division boards are made up of talented, member-elected leaders from within the Themed Entertainment industry. From their seats, they can collaborate in creating the strategic vision for this amazing organization and bring us into the future.


The TEA covers a global community covering four divisions:

 

 

DIVISION BOARD QUALIFICATIONS – APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED

As a global association, TEA values a diverse set of perspectives. The TEA respects a wide spectrum of attributes in our Board candidates including regions they represent, professional backgrounds, and disciplines. This criterion is important and valued as we work to build an effective and balanced Board to lead TEA into the future.
 

TEA DIVISIONAL BOARD MEMBER PROFILE
The ideal candidate shall meet the following qualifications:

  • Is a member (or their company) is a member of the TEA in good standing
  • Is an established or emerging leader in the themed entertainment or related industries.
  • Is in a leadership position within their company or otherwise demonstrates strong leadership skills in their role. *
  • Has their company’s support for TEA Division Board commitment with the following requirements: *
    • Can commit to participating on 8-10 Board conference calls each year and one in person Board Meeting.
    • Attends (in person) at least one high-profile TEA event: a SATE (North America, Europe, Asia), the TEA Summit and/or The Thea Awards Gala, or the TEA IAAPA International Mixer.
    • Attends at least 3 Divisional events (virtual or in-person).
    • Can commit to helping organize and/or co-host one Divisional event per year (virtual or in person) of their term based on the strategic guidance of the Board.
  • Represents unique connections to other aspects of the industry (university clubs, other industry associations, etc.) and will foster them to grow strong relationships with TEA.
  •  Will effectively represent the Division as a professional leader and representative of regional members.
